We're thrilled that you've decided to worship with us! We know that going to a new place can be intimidating--especially if you don't know anyone. At Northbrook Covenant Church, our desire is that you would have a meaningful encounter with Christ each and every day. We would love to come alongside you and walk with you in your journey—all are welcome!

What to Expect
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Northbrook Covenant Church a great one!
In total, our service is about 60-70 minutes in length. Make sure to grab a bulletin on your way into the sanctuary. It will tell you what's going on that week in our church and how the service will proceed on that Sunday. Service begins at 10:30 AM with music led by our worship team (a mix of genres: traditional hymns and contemporary music). The song lyrics are projected onto to screen so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After a couple songs we will generally have a few announcements and share in a time of prayer together. Our pastor or another speaker will then share a message from God's Word (usually 20-25 minutes) followed by a song or two. On the first Sunday of every month, we serve communion which is open to all who believe and profess faith in Jesus Christ.
After worship, all are welcome to join us for coffee hour in our the lobby for a time of fellowship. This is a casual space where people from our church enjoy time together. We'd love a chance to talk to you and get to know you!
What Do I Wear
Wear what you are comfortable in! Some people will wear suits and others will wear jeans. At Northbrook Covenant Church, we want you to come as your true and genuine self. Our members are not perfect; Scripture says that we are all broken and fallen people. We don't want people to put on a charade when they come to church.
You are welcome just as you are!
Kids & Youth
Children of all ages are more than welcome in Northbrook's worship service! For infants/toddles there is also a special nursery room available equipped with toys, a changing table, and the service live-streamed into the room. About halfway through the service, children aged preschool through 5th grade are invited to go to Kids' Sunday School. Those in 6th-12th grade are invited to stay for all of worship service.
